How to use vimeo

this thing is so un-user friendly. Why can't I just record the screen I"m looking at, with my face in the corner? That's all I want to do! I remember I used to be able to do that in Vimeo, maybe like years ago? Now, I have no idea how! It keeps forcing the screen back to vimeo, instead of the screen I want to record. It's just so confusing, I honestly hate it. Vimeo, please fix this!

Used to be great, really easy to use, but now crippled to a max of 3 videos on the free plan, and the extension doen't even work anymore. It launches into the Vimeo site with a black video box, starts recording on the Vimeo page (not the site I actually want to record) and when switiching to the tab I need to record, the extension records nothing. Uploads a black video. Uninstalling as this is now completely useless.

Hey Vimeo. Your extension's UX was paired to none on the business. It did the job and did it brilliantly in every flow. I was amazed how good everything was working. This new iteration though... Yeah, I'm sorry, it's so confusing, I tried. I swear. But it's so unnervingly hard to understand. I've been trying for months, and I'm sorry, but who gave the green flag-pole-sitta to this?

I am a Vimeo Pro subscriber and absolutely loved the extension before the October 2024 update. Now the extension is just a link to page on Vimeo. Utterly useless extension now. The extension just takes you to https://vimeo.com/record/start-recording so don't bother installing an extension if you can just go to the link.

The screen recording was easy to use before, but since the last upgrade, it has stopped working. I'm not sure why they had to mess with it

Having tried a few different screen recorders, I've come back to Vimeo. Just about perfect, and the only barrier I've run into is that some tech supports aren't allowed to view Vimeo links ?. Other than that a gem of a tool!?

Nice Product with great features! Only that it covers another opened app while saying recordings making the app unaccessible.
